NH Hotel Group needs to incorporate a Receptionist for the opening of the NH COLLECTION MARSEILLE located on the blue coast of France.

The selected person will be responsible for all aspects of Front Desk operation in order to maintain the high standards required meeting the Company and Guests expectations, ensuring that full handovers are given and understood at the change of shift and that all guests are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the resource will:
-operate the switchboard, answering and transferring calls as promptly as possible;
-liaise closely with other departments ensuring that all relevant information is communicated promptly and accurately;
-deal with the Safety Deposit boxes as and when requested as per Company policy;
-liaise in all circumstances with the Front Office Manager and or the Duty Manager ensuring good communication;
-supervise, induct and train other switchboard operators;
-give accurate information to guests;
-be knowledgeable of the daily conference and to open and close lines for the conference rooms, ensuring that all calls are printed out and are passed to reception for charging;
-check the fax machine, distributing guest faxes to concierge promptly and send faxes as required;
-ensure that the registration cards of all departed guests are filed alphabetically;
-communicate with the Front Office Manager at all times, ensuring that she/he is aware of all relevant information;
-have full working knowledge of and work within the Fire, Health and Safety regulations in line with the hotel policy;
-carry out any reasonable request made by Management.

NH Hotel Group is looking for a French and English speaking person, with a Tourism Degree and at least years’ experience in the role of Hotel Receptionist, communication and relationships skills, ambition to go beyond expectations, cheerful and informal attitude, at the same time as respectful and professional, and who is customer oriented and focused on details and results.

The selected person must have an excellent French and English level.

Availability to work in shifts and on weekends is required.

-Incorporation expected for October.
